Our Approach

Action Pathways

Our industry-driven working groups are developing lighthouse projects on prioritized technologies, regulatory, funding and market enablers to decarbonization. Our efforts to deploy low-carbon emitting technologies at scale and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 include:

Coalition Building

We are building an expanding coalition which already includes 70-plus senior chemical industry executives who are actively engaged in our working groups. To enable high-impact project implementation, we are increasing collaboration with a wide ecosystem of suppliers, value chain partners, policymakers and financial institutions.

Technology Implementation

We are moving toward proof of concepts focusing on the development and upscaling of low-carbon emitting technology areas like waste processing and bio mass utilization.

R&D Hub

We have established an R&D Hub focusing on early stage low-carbon emitting technologies in the area of plastic waste processing. We have defined shared technology needs and collaboration opportunities to deliver joint research projects.

Policy

We are identifying joint policy priorities for the deployment of low-carbon emitting technologies. Our regional dialogue series with policymakers is strengthening public-private collaboration on reducing emissions.

CEO Advisory Board

Our CEO Advisory Board oversees and supports the strategic direction of our joint activities.
