The Global Impact Coalition (GIC) is pleased to welcome the Fraunhofer Chemistry Alliance as an Associate Member, further strengthening the coalition’s research and technology capabilities in advancing emissions reduction and circularity across the chemical industry and its value chains.

As one of the world’s leading applied research and technology organisations, Fraunhofer brings extensive expertise and a strong track record of providing industrial solutions. Their participation will support GIC’s mission to develop and spin-out practical, results-based projects that accelerate the transition to a low-carbon and circular chemical sector.
Charlie Tan, CEO of the Global Impact Coalition, said:
“Fraunhofer’s strong research capabilities and applied technology expertise will add valuable depth to our collaborative efforts as we advance practical, scalable solutions for emissions reduction and circularity across the chemical value chain.”
As the spokesperson of the Fraunhofer Chemistry Alliance, Stefan Loebbecke added:
“We are very much looking forward to supporting the Global Impact Coalition in its current transformation efforts by providing complementary expertise of our 16 alliance institutes and our sustainability-focused research contributions.”
Fraunhofer’s addition reflects GIC’s continued commitment to bringing together leading industry, research, technology and ecosystem partners to accelerate innovation and drive system-level change.
