Ernst & Young LLP and the Global Impact Coalition will co-host an engaging discussion with industry leaders in an upcoming webinar on
The Strategic Role of the Chemical Industry in Enabling a Circular Economy – Barriers and Solutions.

Panelists Todd Cline from Procter & Gamble, Peter Miller from Eastman Chemical and Fiona van den Brink from LyondellBasell along with Charlie Tan from the Global Impact Coalition will discuss a number of questions, including:

  • What are today’s primary barriers to a more circular economy?
  • What roles could the chemical industry and related value chains play through action focused initiatives to accelerate a more circular economy?
  • How can the chemical industry better support downstream players (consumer brands) to drive circularity? How can downstream players in turn support the chemical industry on circularity?
  • What roles might new technologies (e.g., AI, advanced chemical recycling, electrification) in the chemical industry play in advancing a more circular economy? What is needed to speed up their development and implementation at scale?

The discussion panel will take place online on Thursday, October 10 from 17-18h CEST/11-12h EST.
