Our latest initiative focuses on building a recycling value chain specifically for the automotive plastics industry. We are committed to reducing waste and enhancing the sustainability of automotive materials through advanced recycling technologies.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and coordinate our development project aimed at establishing a robust reverse supply chain for automotive plastics. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination: Oversee project planning, execution, tracking, and documentation to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, including GIC member companies, and external partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively and monitored throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in project management & documentation within the chemical, automotive or recycling industry, with a focus on publicly funded or sustainability initiatives preferred.
  • Understanding of the automotive plastics sector and recycling processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, or similar tools).
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to travel in Germany and Europe
